Foundations
A foundation keeps its books differently from a company — different reporting deadlines, different rules for donations and grants, different obligations towards ZUS. We know those differences and keep the books so that the board is confident and the next statement passes without a single remark.
Accounting for foundations and associations
We keep full records: accounting books, payroll cards, VAT records and settlements under Article 22 of the VAT Act. Foundations often mix funding sources — donations, grants, membership fees, interest — and we track each of them separately so the statement stays readable for the board and for the supervising authority.
- Keeping accounting books and tax records
- Settling membership fees and donations
- Tracking grants and spending them in line with the agreement
- Preparing the data for the financial statement
Financial statements
Foundations have a reporting obligation with much earlier deadlines than companies. We prepare the statement together with the notes, schedules and supporting explanations — so that it is accepted without comments and without questions about missing items.
- A financial statement drawn up for a foundation
- Notes and required schedules
- Verification of consistency with the books and documentation
- Review before filing
Grants and donations
Every grant comes with its own rules: what may be funded, by when and to what amount. We settle it so that the report for the donor or the grant-maker comes out of the books, not out of a separate spreadsheet.
- Registering the grant and its terms
- Settling expenses in line with the agreement
- Reporting for the grant-maker and for the board
- Settling donations and their use
ZUS and remuneration
A foundation's board works under civil-law contracts, volunteers under civil-law agreements — which means contributions, limits and deadlines. We keep records of agreements and contracts, settle contributions for every period and make sure every volunteer's status complies with the law.
- Records of civil-law agreements and employment contracts
- ZUS settlements for the board and volunteers
- Monitoring limits and deadlines
- Registering the foundation as a payer
